I always take my photography seriously. But away from a camera, I am full of laughter and love, whether snuggling with my two boys under a pile of pillows, or scuba-diving with my wife as she warns me away from the fire coral. Such moments of love and caring inform my approach to life, and to wedding photography. Creative. Simple. Inspired. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Photography I have spent years perfecting my vision and craft, learning from the best visual journalists at The Dallas Morning News and the international wire service Reuters. I enjoyed telling complex human stories with photographs, whether at the Olympic Games, presidential elections, embedded in Iraq, or New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
